Guest Post for Werewolves be Damned by Stacey Kennedy

Today on the blog we have Stacey Kennedy. She’s an urban fantasy lover at heart, but she also enjoys losing herself in dark and sensual worlds. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, who gave her a happily-ever-after. Together, they have two small children who can always make her smile, and who will never be allowed to read Mommy’s books. If she’s not plugging away at a new story, you’ll find her camping, curling up with the latest flick, or obsessing over Sons of Anarchy and Game of Thrones.

In her newest release, WEREWOLVES BE DAMNED, we are introduced to a whole smorgasbord of supernatural characters, but today, she’s here to share the hero in the Magic & Mayhem series.

1. Where is your character from?

He was born and raised in the Otherworld, which is a magical realm that supernaturals can gain access to at St. Andrews castle in Scotland. Of course, there are temporary portals to travel into the Earthworld from the Otherworld, but the castle is a permanent portal.

Pic #1

2. How old is your character?

He’s twenty-eight-years old, but really, who’s counting! Once he turns thirty-years-old, he’ll hit his immortal age and never get a day older. Yes, he’ll always have a six-pack!

3. What is your character called?

Kyden.

Pic #2

4. What does your character look like?

Of course, he’s masculine perfection! He has a thick body chiseled to pure perfection and silky-smooth tanned skin. And his light brown hair softens him a little by hanging messily across his forehead. Plus, just to add to his hotness, he’s always bare-chested, he has a sword strapped to his back, and he wears a dark leather kilt!

5. What kind of childhood did he or she have?

Oh, you know, the typical childhood of a supernatural living in the Otherworld. His days were spent training in combat and learning good sword technique, so he could grow into the guardian he is today.

6. What does your character do for a living?

He’s the elite guardian in the Council’s Guard, which means he’s the best-of-the-best when it comes to guardians. He’s been hired by the leaders of the Otherworld to hunt and destroy supernaturals who take innocent mortal lives. Fun job, right?!

7. How does your character deal with conflict and change?

Kyden is a smooth operator! He’s logical when it comes to most things. He’s fierce and brutal when he needs to be, but there is one thing that changes things for him, which leads into your next question.

8. Does your character have a romantic interest in anyone?

His leading lady is guardian/witch, Nexi. Like I was saying above, Kyden is typically all put together, but when it comes to Nexi’s safety, his temper can flare. It makes his logical mind become not so logical.

9. What is planned for Kyden’s character in future books?

Kyden’s journey throughout the books will be trying to keep Nexi safe. It’s going to put his life in perspective. Things that he thought he knew about himself will change. Yeah, he’s one of those guys who thought he had it all figured out…until a spitfire came and made things messy. Life will get more dangerous and enemies will develop, but he’ll stop at nothing to keep her protected.

Luckily, we get to jump on the kick-ass, crazy ride, too!

Book Description:

Nexi Jones—part witch, part guardian, and wannabe kick-ass warrior—can’t throw a punch or conjure the simplest magic. But that doesn’t stop her from hunting the werewolves who slaughtered her human family. She’ll have her revenge, but only if Kyden, the elite guardian, would get the hell out of her way.

Kyden can’t decide if Nexi wants to get herself killed or if she just has no clue what she’s doing. But her father made it clear: keep Nexi safe…or else. Of course, the more Nexi runs toward revenge, the more she needs Kyden’s aid, and as she grows into her power and confidence, so does his desire to protect her. The only problem? She’d rather he dropped dead.

But when a vampire paints a bull’s-eye on Nexi’s back, she’s hard-pressed to deny Kyden and the help he’s offering. Even if it means getting her revenge will be a little bit harder. At least it will still be as sweet.

Cover Reveal: This is Forever by S.A. Price

WinterLolaCoverFINAL1
Seeing Lola after eight months was a fucking kick in the teeth. She had changed her hair, it was purple with black streaks, and she was wearing one fucker of an outfit. Platform Mary Jane’s, her signature, purple torn fishnet thigh highs with garters that ended in bows with skulls on them, micro mini in black satin with a lace trim. She had tripled up on her belts, her little baby tee molding to her torso like a second skin. It was razor cut in places, showing skin and the purple of her lace bra. Her arms warmers were knitted with little skulls on them. He was pretty sure she wasn’t wearing underwear also, the girl just loved to shock. Dare he think it was for his benefit? He wasn’t sure he even saw her, thinking he was dreaming the perfection before him.
But dreams don’t blow you off… at least his didn’t. His dreams, her especially, blew him. When dreams blew you off, those were called nightmares, and those sucked. Sucked like life was sucking right now. She had walked in with the rest of her band, greeted everyone but him, her gaze lingering a little too long on Colin, Rhys’ little brother, but then moved on as she kissed cheeks and hugged people.
He had to adjust his groin, discreetly of course, when she and Saffron hugged and snuggled. Apparently over the past several months Saffron and Lola had become quite the BFF, with Lola staying at Saffron’s place in New York when she had to go in for several shoots and meetings with her record company. Rhys had teased him about getting face timed and seeing both of them in little booty shorts and white tank tops… but he didn’t think they were that close.
And worse, he didn’t think seeing her all snuggly with Saffron would illicit the images rolling through his head. Not that Saffron wasn’t hot, but he just didn’t dig his best friend’s girl like that.  He grabbed a tootsie pop and unwrapped it, sticking the thick ball into his mouth. He watched her move from person to person, but never to him.
What. The. Fuck.
When everyone sat down, she sat at the other end, didn’t even bother to look at him. He went through dinner in a blur, his anger getting to him more and more. What the fuck was going on? He was beginning to feel like he was invisible. Maybe it was a nightmare?
When she got up and went to the bathroom, he followed, after exchanging a meaningful look with Rhys.
“So you’re just not going to say anything to me?” he said as he caught her coming out of the bathroom.
She looked at him and then sighed. “I didn’t want a public thing to happen.”
Public thing?
He cocked his head and scowled. “And what the fuck does that mean?”
She looked him up and down. “I don’t know if I’m ready to say hi like I want to.”
Winter rolled his eyes. “So you can wrap yourself around Saffron, eye Colin up like he’s a steak, which by the way he’s not even eighteen yet, eww,” he ticked off on his fingers, “Yet you can’t even just turn and wave at me?”
Lola shook her head. “It’s not what I wanted. And Colin is going to be very popular…”
“You just didn’t wanna talk to me at all?” he asked, thoroughly confused. She was the one that pushed for the tour, and by all accounts she didn’t have issue with their past. It was what gave him hope.
She moved closer and shook her head. “That’s not it.”
“Then what’s it?” he bit out, his hands clenched at his sides. Gods, only she could infuriate him like this. Fuck she smelled good. All honey and warm clover… no one smelled like Lola.
Her voice lowered. “Do you like my outfit Winter?”
He growled. Fuck yes he liked her outfit. Loved. Wanted it crumpled on the floor of his bedroom. Wanted to peel it from her slowly, kissing every inch of skin he exposed.
She reached for him, her fingers tugging him closer by the belt loops of his jeans. “Good. You’re supposed to. You don’t get anything from me Winter Tulane. No greeting, no, little wave, no explanation. Eat your heart out baby.”
She got closer, her lips just against his, a slight almost imperceptible move of the hoop through the middle of his lip and then she was gone, back towards the party, her ass shaking with a sashay that had blood rushing from every place in his body to his cock. Fuck. What the hell was going on?
“Hey Lo,” he called after her. She gave him the finger and kept walking.
Game on. Game fucking on, he thought as he followed her back into the room. Confusion didn’t even convey how he was feeling about what happened, but holy fuck the signals she was throwing off were so convoluted he didn’t know if he should fist pump for getting her so close to him or brood over her words.

Jackson Cooper hates magic. Even though his brothers are falling prey to the seductive draw of the paranormal world, Jackson wants nothing to do with it. He also wants nothing to do with marriage, babies, and all that comes with it. He’s content with being the stoic, but quiet Uncle Jacks. Honor Bridges is the tooth fairy. Well, not the tooth fairy, but at least one of them. For the past eight years she’d been on her own, hiding from what she truly wants. Now she’s back in Holiday and ready to take over her duties…as well as deal with Jackson once and for all. But there’s another player in town who isn’t happy with the decisions she made all those years ago and Jackson might be the one who takes the brunt of that anger.

Warning: Contains a wickedly spicy tooth fairy–complete with sparkly wings, the most tortured of all the Cooper brothers in all his broodiness, and dreams that are sure to make you never want to wake up in this final installment of the Holiday, Montana series.

Book Blurb:

He twirled a lock of my dark hair between his fingers, bringing the soft tendril to his nose as he drew in a deep breath.

“Do I still smell like lemon cake?” I asked. My fingers wandered along the tight muscles on his arms, sliding underneath the sleeves of his light grey T-shirt.

He suddenly crouched low and ran his nose along the length of my body—close and inviting. God, I loved it when he did that.

Smelled me.

What a strange thing to love about a man. The gesture felt erotic and the tiny hairs on my arms would stand up. With each inhale, his soft purr rumbled and I pulled his face close to mine, planting a soft kiss on his warm cheek. He caged me with arms that had once climbed a thirty-foot tree with blinding speed to rescue me—his agile body leaping from branch to branch as he held me tightly to him.

“Put your mouth on mine, Little Raven. I’m ready for a taste of lemon cake,” he said in a deep and tumbling voice.

“Maybe I’m not so sweet,” I whispered, wetting my lower lip with a sweep of my tongue.

Logan’s eyes followed every movement, and he licked his lips in response. “I want your mouth… on my mouth. Do it, or else I’ll have to find something else to kiss.”

About the Author:

Dannika Dark Bio Pic

Down in Texas, there’s a woman who drinks copious amounts of vitamin water placed precariously close to her laptop. Yeah, I know. I’ve got a drinking problem. Hi, I’m Danni.

When I’m not writing (which is all the time), I’m listening to obscure music, watching movies, reading, discovering new ways to humiliate myself bowling, and burning up my laptop battery on the internet. I live with a cat who thinks she is a dog, or a goat (she eats plastic, so I’m not sure which).

Some people count sheep when they have insomnia. Since I was little, I used to make up stories in my head in a futile attempt to bore myself to sleep. The problem was, I’d get so wrapped up in my “head stories” that I would continue them through the following nights, changing it up each time to make it more exciting. Eventually, I started writing my ideas down more and more, creating short stories which evolved into poetry.

Lots and lots of poetry. It’s almost embarrassing that I have an entire box loaded with spiral notebooks filled with furious, heartfelt, and blushing words. Apparently, I had a lot to say.

Another one of my hobbies is digital art. I designed all my book covers.

I am finally doing what I have always wanted to: giving my characters a pulse through publishing. I write adult urban fantasy romance, but I don’t like labels. I let the story tell itself, and color outside the lines. I am not a YA author, but I think it’s pretty great that there are so many books available to teens in Urban Fantasy and Paranormal. These are the future readers!

The work that goes behind self publishing is hard work, I won’t lie. On top of my regular day job: I write, edit, format, create cover art, and market.

But it’s what I love to do, and someday, I’m going to be doing this full time.

Review: Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian

Synopsis:
Twenty years after First Dawn, Mira, adopted daughter of Nikolai and Renata
has become a warrior. Having her heart broke by Kellan Archers death
8 yrs ago she has tried to move on but can't seem to get past him.
In comes Bowman with a group of human rebels. The group is trying
to kidnap a scientist who Mira is assigned to escort to the Summit
Meeting. At odds against each other it's a race for survival.

I give this book Medium white starMedium white starMedium white star1/2

I felt the plot was rushed and could have had more action..
Some parts seem to drag on and I even skipped a few pages.
I have read about Mira since she was a little girl and felt
she could have had a lot more about her story. With that said,
I am a big fan of Lara Adrian and the Midnight Breed series,
and I would recommend this book to read.

Queen of Jastain

by Kary Rader

Excerpt:

When Avant climbed back to the cave, his hair was wet. He’d slicked it back from his face and tied it into a little ponytail with a leather string. The sexy shadow of a light beard softened his angular jaw, and the thick waves of his hair shined with chestnut highlights in the morning sun. It was a good look for him, but then again, what wasn’t? Abby ran her fingers through her own tangled tresses and pulled her hair back. What she wouldn’t give for a hairclip.

“Would you like a thong for your hair?”

She giggled at the word thong, certain that what she pictured was not what he referenced. “Do you have an extra one? I’d like to get it out of my face, and I don’t have anything.” Actually she had her own thong, but she sure as hell wasn’t putting it in her hair.

He immediately unlaced the tie at the neck of his shirt and handed it to her.

She gasped and put a hand to her face to hide the heat in her cheeks as his shirt fell open below his breast bone. “You don’t have to do that.”

Her blood coursed wildly at the sight of the smooth muscles of his chest. A soft sprinkling of dark hair beckoned her fingers. She swallowed hard.

“It’s all right. Please use it. It will be a hard day’s journey with hair in your face.” His words rang in her mind so sincerely she forgot her embarrassment, but her eyes kept flitting to his heavenly chest.

“Thank you, Avant, and not only for the lace but for everything you’re doing to help me.”

Holding her gaze, he nodded once, and her heart fluttered. Was it getting warm in the cave? She wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead.

“It is time to be off if we are to make it to the next shelter before nightfall.” He picked up his pack and walked to the mouth of the cave. She grabbed her bag and followed.

Climbing down proved to be more difficult than going up. The muscles required to lower herself from one level to the next worked her thighs and butt like no gym equipment she’d ever experienced. It was like doing hours of squats. She trudged down the mountain with the previous day’s tumult weighting her down like the “freshman ten.” Avant helped her along on the steeper steps, but, for the most part, she made them on her own, clippity-clopping in those damned Docinis all the way.

When he reached the bottom, he disappeared around an outcropping. Abby took the last little step to the base and hurried after him. As she turned the corner, Avant grabbed her arm and spun her around. Driving her back against the rock, he pressed the length of his rigid body against her. His face, barely three inches from hers, clenched in thin lines of stress. Her heart raced…with fear.

She was pretty sure it was fear.

Lia Davis Spotlight, Review and Giveaway

Thank you for joining us here at Bookish Babbles Lia!  It is great to have you here and I just want to say I have loved your books!

I was able to ask Lia one question for a guest post and I wanted to know why shifters?  I personally love a story with shifters they are just Alpha amazing!

Shapeshifters? What is the appeal?

Hmm, where do I start?

The males of the species, perhaps?

Yes, that sounds nice.

Weather he is a wolf, lion, tiger, leopard, or bear he’s a fierce protector and many times very territorial. And that is just his animal side. His human side gives him compassion and logic that conflicts with the animal within. Some are more in tune with their animal and allows it more reign over his emotions, causing him to be more aggressive than others.

So what’s the appeal?

To me it’s the element of danger, the internal struggle for control, and knowing that the story is a romance so I know the hero will be broken down, even if a little, by the female he falls for. And of course the hot love scenes.

What is it for you? Why do you love shifter romance?

A Tiger’s Claim – Ashwood Falls, book 1

After relishing in being able to run free without an escort, she finds herself face-to-face with the enemy, miles from home, and nearly loses her life until a lone wolf comes to her aid.

Not only will they have to face her Pack, Shay and Travis will have to deal with a mating that is beyond a single night and could have consequences more than either of them had thought. And when Travis finds out Shay wears the enemy’s brand, things will go from bad to worse.

Warning: One alpha female who doesn’t take no for an answer, a wolf with more on the line than just his heart, and a combustible attraction that’s sure to cause more than one sweaty night.

Excerpt:

It took ten minutes too long to reach his small one-bedroom cabin. Once inside, he carried her straight to the bedroom, flung the comforter back, and laid the female on his bed. As soon as her leg touched the mattress, she groaned in pain. Frowning, he walked to his dresser, grabbed a pair of joggers, and put them on.

He went back to the bed and sat down next to her, jarring her hip. Another painful groan made him pause. He lifted her sweater to undo her jeans so he could look at the wound. When he touched the button, she flung opened her eyes, screamed, and swung her arms wildly.

Damn it.

He fought with her for a few seconds before he got hold of her arms and pinned them to the bed. “I’m not going to hurt you.”

Her eyes held a wild fear he hoped never to see in a female again. The claw marks etched into both her cheeks fueled his fury more. He breathed in then out slowly.

Calm down before you scare her more than she already is.

“My name is Travis Hunter. You’re safe.”

She blinked then looked around the room. “Where…am I?”

He growled low in his throat. The tremor in her voice cut through him. “My home.”

She tried to break from his hold, and he tightened his grip. “You’re safe. I killed the rogues.”

The woman stilled and searched his face, the wildness still heavy in her blue eyes. “You’re a wolf.”

He smiled and nodded. “And you’re a tiger.”

“A white tiger.”

To match her white-blond hair. “And a beautiful one.”

TEASER!

I’ve found you, fur ball.

Nexi peered from behind the large oak tree and spotted the small log cabin nestled in the thick forest. The porch light cast a warm glow into the night. Fog settled over the lush grass, and the night was dark, eerie.

Stepping away from her hiding place behind the tree, she strode forward and gripped the dagger tightly in her hand. Keeping the silver blade pointed outward, she climbed the cabin’s porch steps, taking each one slowly to avoid detection.

Once she arrived at the front door, she wrapped her hand around the door handle. Rich hunger for revenge burned in her veins and made her intent on one thing: to slaughter the werewolf who escaped the night of her parents’ murder. Not caring what awaited her, she stormed inside, dagger pointed, ready to kill.

The simple cabin had two large brown couches near a wood-burning stove, a kitchenette behind the living room, and a quilt-covered bed resting in the back. And that was it; there were no other rooms to investigate. No secret hiding places she could see.

No damned werewolf.

She cursed, shut the front door behind her, then trotted down the steps to return to her hiding spot. On her way across the yard, she glanced at the space to the right of the tree, which looked much like a heat wave, indicating that the portal to the Otherworld remained.

In some places around the world—or the Earthworld, as supernaturals had called it—there were permanent portals to the supernatural realm. This portal had only appeared because Nexi had travelled to this cabin from the Otherworld. Once she passed through the portal again, the gateway would vanish.

Magic had its perks. Quick travel was one of them.

Nexi shook her head at how normal all this magical stuff seemed now. Just over a month ago she’d never believed in anything that went bump in the night. Now she knew all those things existed, and in fact, she was one of them.

To her horror, she had learned that her birth mother, Tillie, had been murdered by a power-hungry vampire, Lazarus. All those years ago, her birth father, Drake, had protectively decided to block Nexi’s supernatural abilities. He had planned for her to live and die as a mortal. Now with her return to the Otherworld and the removal of the block on her true identity, there was no going back.

She was no longer plain, human, Nexi Jones.

She was Nexi Jones, part guardian, part witch.

Looking away from the portal and to her hiding spot until the werewolf returned, she hurried her steps. She wasn’t ready to return to the Otherworld yet. Not until she had the werewolf’s head as her wall ornament would she dare go home.

Just as she neared the tree, a woodsy scent that had nothing to do with the forest mixed with the citrusy aroma of aftershave. A blink of an eye later, the dagger she held was now at her throat, a hard body closed in on her back.

“You smelled lovely when you arrived.” The low voice by her ear held a faint English accent. “But I never imagined you’d be so pretty.”

The blade pressed into her skin, not drawing blood, but implying that if the werewolf chose, she’d be destined for the grave. “I’m…”

“Going to explain yourself.” He lowered the dagger, took hold of her arm, and jerked her forward.

In a few short strides, the werewolf tossed her through the threshold of the cabin, and slammed the door behind them. He sauntered to the couch, sat down, and regarded her. “Now then, darlin’.” His olive skin was stunningly flawless, and his chocolate-colored hair was spiked tall. “Why would a pretty lass like yourself plan to attack me?”

“Don’t move.” That charm wouldn’t fool her. “Stay right where you are.”

“My mouth is the only thing moving.” His slanted amber eyes raked over her. “Would you like me to stop talking?”

“No.” She hesitated then added, “Only your mouth can move. Nothing else. Tell me what you know.”

He gave her a long look. “I’d be glad to tell you anything you’d like, love.”

His kind face and soft voice wouldn’t trick her. He was a werewolf. She was certain, which was another oddity.

After the block on her supernatural abilities had been lifted, she could identify a supernatural creature as if knowing the difference between a brunette and a redhead. “Tell me why you killed my family.”

“That’s an interesting accusation.” He cocked his head, studying her with a frown. “But I think the more important question is who are you?”

She lifted her chin. “The lass who’s going to cut off your furry wolf balls.”

The Orb of Truth by Brae Wykoff Book Tour

Today we have Brae Wykoff here to tell us how he made his ideas come alive and share a little about his book The Orb of Truth!  Enjoy!

IT IS TIME!

Are you an entrepreneur? Do you have tons of ideas but don’t know what to do with them?

My name is Brae Wyckoff, author of The Orb of Truth epic fantasy series, and co-founder to an international ministry called The Greater News.

Let me start by saying that building your brand takes time and commitment. My wife and I started The Greater News September 4th, 2010 on Facebook. We were so angry watching the news each day showing nothing but death, rape, and destruction. We had personally seen first-hand miracles and wondered why there was no coverage on the news of these amazing events. Thus, TGN was birthed. We had no idea how popular it would become. Over two years later, it is approaching 5,000 FB followers, been viewed millions of times in over 20 countries, and our new website launched this year. It has grown so much that my wife and I are now getting TGN a non-profit status and plan on visiting churches and ministries around the world to share the goodness of God and to let people know that God is very much alive and moving supernaturally in peoples lives.

This is an example of starting something and watching it grow. We would have never understood the impact of this without starting it. We could have just talked about how great it would be or could be and seen nothing happen.

Do you have something that burns inside of you? “Pay attention to your tears, they point to your destiny.”

I have always wanted to be an author and have had stories inside of me waiting to be released. I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard someone tell me that they have a book they want to write. If you have that dormant book then it is time to awaken it and get it out of your system. I am a Christian who loves fantasy. I grew up playing D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) and several times was conflicted within myself on whether I should be writing anything fantasy with my religious beliefs. It was JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis that really gave me the freedom to write as a Christian within this genre. I wanted something epic and full of adventure but mainly I wanted a message but not a preachy message.

I have always asked myself, “What is my destiny in life? What is my purpose?”

I took these questions and themed it throughout within the characters portrayed within the pages of The Orb of Truth. The Orb is the first of the series and it came out November 17th, 2012. It took me six months to write it with another year of re-writes and editing. I have the second book with my editor and it will be out later this year (2013). It is the sequel and is called The Dragon God. I have woven my faith throughout my stories but at the same time have found balance with the general ups and downs we all experience in our day to day life in reality. I wanted rich character development to really enhance the story. You will gravitate to at least one of the characters in my book and truly connect with the adventure.

I have started so many things and continue to juggle them. I started my own blog talk radio show called Broadcast Muse where I interview amazing people from around the world. Guess what gang, it is free to start and all you need is a computer and phone. That’s it. You just have to do it.

I have launched my own website (www.braewyckoff.com) where I have many of my endeavors listed on there, including all of my social networking pages.

Does success come over night? NOPE! I’m still working toward success in all my ventures and as the months go by and then eventually the years pass, I will be able to look back and be thankful I started things back then.

The key to this message is start with what you are passionate about. Dig deep within yourself and see the fruit of your labor. Be blessed everyone!

Excerpt:

A scene from The Orb of Truth

“Who dares to enter my domain?” The deep voice bellowed.

Bridazak hesitated before speaking up, “I’m Bridazak and these are my friends. We seek an audience with The Great Oculus.”

The voice thundered once more, “Two ordakians and a dwarf, in a place they should not be. Many seek my voice, but find only fated death. What has brought you to the door of oblivion?”

“A mystery, one that came from my dream. We seek your help, oh Great One,” said the Ordakian.

“Show me what has turned from a dream into reality.”

Bridazak produced the ornate box in his small hands, and began to speak, “We don’t know what the writing—”

“Silence!” The ground shook under their feet. “I know what you seek, but you must answer my riddle. If you are correct, then I will reveal to you the meaning of this gift. If you fail, then you will be sent to the grave. There will be no rest inside the gates of the netherworld, your soul will thirst for death again for all eternity and generations forthcoming will never know you existed.”

“What about my friends?”

“You came here together as one accord and you will live or die in the same manner. Your riddle is this, little-one:

Rigid but born to perfection

I wonder who brought me my blissful conception

I am gazed upon by many lonely eyes

Standing there to be portrayed with lies

There are questions that surround me

Thinking, feeling, hearing, I can see

No movement comes from within

I am forsaken because I lack earthly skin

So true is my heart without a beat

Now I drink the rainwater, tasting bittersweet

Crafted by art in life’s forgiving hand

Brought from afar to this known fatherland

Trying to find the meaning of my existence

A voice comes here and there showing the eminence

The task performed in drought of the grandmaster

Born in stillness could have been my disaster

Braving the depth of a complex web

Weaved and woven in the delight of the ebb

Now and forever in eternal agony’s darkness

Never to move to touch, only to feel a sweet caress.

Of what do I speak?”
